IOTOX Symposium
Welcome to the 2026 ASPIRE-IOTOX Symposium.
About ASPIRE
Since its establishment in March 2024, the National Alliance for Support and Prevention of Immune-Related Adverse Events (ASPIRE) has rapidly expanded nationwide. The consortium has spearheaded and supported multiple high-impact initiatives that have advanced clinical care, education, and research in immune-related adverse events (irAEs).
The annual ASPIRE Conference, hosted on a rotating basis by leading academic institutions, has become the consortium’s flagship event, bringing together experts from academia, industry, and patient advocacy to exchange ideas and accelerate progress in this critical field. This year presents an exciting opportunity to align the ASPIRE Conference with MD Anderson’s institutional IOTOX Scientific Symposium, creating a powerful platform to integrate diverse perspectives on irAEs and foster international collaboration.
About the IOTOX Symposium
This symposium is designed to create a space where experts from different backgrounds can connect and learn from each other. The focus is on the latest research and clinical practices related to immunotherapy toxicities. Participants will hear from leaders in the field, explore new technologies, and dive into practical strategies for managing complex cases. The goal is to turn cutting-edge science into everyday solutions that improve care and outcomes for patients dealing with immune-related side effects.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
- Develop treatment plans that follow current guidelines for managing immunotherapy toxicities.
- Find and use national society recommendations to guide care decisions.
- Apply IOTOX guidelines that have been reviewed and approved by both oncologists and internal medicine experts.
- Evaluate complex patient cases and tailor treatment plans to meet individual needs.
- Use IOTOX protocols across the care team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
