Research Excellence Preferred Journals
The Research Excellence Preferred Journals Initiative was recently launched by the the Office of the Chief Scientific Officer. The list includes high-impact, peer-reviewed journals that represent the highest standards of discovery and translational/clinical science in our fields.
The goals of this initiative are to:
- Maintain and elevate our standards of research excellence.
- Highlight and promote high-impact discovery science publications.
- Encourage researchers to publish in high-value, internationally recognized journals.
- Provide a measurable and transparent method to evaluate publication excellence.
- Continue to strengthen MD Anderson’s global reputation and rankings, including performance in the Nature Index.
This Preferred Journals Listing will be routinely used to:
- Review and recognize outstanding research publications.
- Inform reporting and analytics around research output.
- Help spotlight institutional excellence in research.
