Value and Impact
The poster created is entitled Preceptorship: Creating an Educational Framework for Histotechnology. From a macro perspective, it shows how the need for change was realized and that steps were taken to start action. Furthermore, being a preceptor is an act of service towards students and all students deserve maximum quality in the educational programs that they enter. Hence, the poster displays an action plan and execution of re-tooling the preceptorship program of the Research Histology Core Lab. Ultimately, the endeavor of anchoring operations in evidence-based strategies will benefit students' overall experiences. This poster can inspire others who may be looking to take initiative in similar efforts and provide a general roadmap to follow.
