"Soccer ball created with scraps of thermoplastic splinting material that OTs use to create custom splints for patients. Soccer goal constructed from old walker legs and leftover plastic chicken wire fencing. Soccer field made from an old golf putting green that was previously used with patients during their occupational therapy sessions. Base was constructed using oak wood flooring that was removed from a house during a remodel and support pieces from a wooden pallet. Outpatient occupational therapy patients and therapists collaborated to create this piece of art to celebrate MD Anderson’s new partnership with the Houston Dynamo soccer team and our commitment to One Goal – Making Cancer HISTORY!"
