Value and Impact
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CCETR Community Outreach team began to think of ways to stay connected with existing partners and form new connections. As a result, the team began to host virtual Community Huddles. At these huddles, information like the importance of cancer screenings and prevention, and clinical trial education are discussed. Partners also talk about the needs of their community and we all work together to better serve the greater Houston area.
